Lightbulb Form running the cursor on exit

    Hello friends!

I'm finalizing a database, I can not say for sure if someone came across error type of situation, well I actually have a form service order, when I open the form normally opens to make the records, but when I leave and do not record any information the course of the mouse stands alone, could someone tell me how I can correct this situation, thanks already.

Error Occurring When Entering Work Order, When Nothing Is Recorded

it is running the mouse cursor.

Error in the "Orservic" form. Thanks in advance for any help.

Your DB is password protected. Cannot open it to review. Suggest you remove password protection or supply login info.

I used your login and then I get an 'enter parameter value' popup. Your app opens up full screen and takes over. I can't go anywhere else. You even have shift key bypass disabled. It is too locked up for me to debug. The language barrier doesn't help. Can't even see how to enter work order. Don't see anything called "Orservic". Can't get to Navigation pane.

I really don't understand the issue you describe.

I agree with June7...I understand that English is a second language to you...but I've been reading this post for two days, now, and have no idea what

...when I leave and do not record any information the course of the mouse stands alone...
means! Are you saying that the mouse freezes up?

I think that means the hourglass or donut circle shows...

Is DoCmd.Hourglass used? If you set it True at beginning of procedure then must set it False at end.

adaoluz, I downloaded your DB and took a look. The database is quite sophisticated with security which I was able to overcome by making various changes.
I don't see any problem with the mouse cursor, but I don't know how to proceed with doing anything with the database to cause the problem.
Can you describe the problem more fully? What form is involved and what are you doing on that form? What goes wrong? What should happen?

The only user registered is Admin, with security level 5.

I tried too. You have made your db impossible to work with, even if the language was English. The parameter prompt will accept 'admin' so no problem there for me. The bypass did work for me. I tried to stop all the calls to the function that hides the Access window but to no avail. All I can say is that you seem to turn off the hourglass in code, but I could not find where you ever turn it on. I doubt anyone will be willing to try to get around the barriers you have implemented, and even if they do, they will have to translate much of it.

Perhaps your problem is that you are not waiting long enough for some process to finish. Suggest you mark this thread as solved, or post a db that doesn't put up so many barriers.

EDIT: posted this before seeing davegri response.
    Go get 'em!
