    ODBC Connection Help

I have a login form that when user successfully logs in opens a switchboard-type form. This form has a few buttons. The one button giving me issues opens a form in add mode where the users fill out a form that saves the data to a table. Then a query pulls data from that table and joins it to other linked tables to auto fill out an email. The issue I have is there are 4 tables all on the same odbc connection in that join and if I hit the button to open the form it does nothing but if I bypass the security and run the button once in the database it prompts me for the username and password of the odbc connection.

I have never tried to do this before. Is there a way I can ask the users to enter their username/password to the odbc connection and somehow pass that info to whatever prompts come up requiring it?

    Thanks again gurus
