    Blank space between fields in report header

    I have several fields stacked vertically in a report header using Access 2010. There is a blank space between two of the fields even though in the report definition these fields are not spaced apart. I've tried every combination of Can Grow and Can Shrink with no success. I've also removed and re-inserted the fields and run Compact and Repair. Any ideas?

    Just by chance have you set the ="TAX ID/VAT # : ..." control (opposite to the StContact control) to can grow = yes ?

    If you did it will extent the space required across the whole report.

    Are asking to put the space there? cause your source seems correct: =STcontact & " " & STPhone
    instead of field names, you can also use text box names
    txtContact = [STcontact]
    txtPhone = [STPhone]

    then make ship to txt box:
    txtShipContact = txtContact & " " & txtPHone

    Yup, that took care of the problem. Thanks.
