    Customizing a Command Button

I am developing a data input form in Access 2016. The regular labels for data boxes can be customized (raised, sunken, etc) with special effects. When adding command buttons, there does not seem to be a way to customize them (I want the labels and command buttons to look the same).

Thanks in advance for any help/guidance.

There's not much to a button.
its raised and has a label or a picture.

You can use a labels on click_event to drive an event in the same way as a command button - and then it will look exactly the same as the rest of your labels...

But you can in fact also customise buttons extensively.

Create a button then look at the control formatting section of the Format ribbon...quick styles/change shape etc
