transparent image not transparent in preview or paper, but is on screen

I have an image that looks correct when viewed on the screen. However in print preview or on paper the image is not transparent. I have created 5 different versions of image that have a transparent background based on a webpage with a blue background. The image is a image type, the picture is embedded, the back style is transparent and back color is no color. What am I doing wrong?

Where do you have it? I've done that by putting the image in the Picture property of the report (embedded), then making sure the background style of the appropriate controls is transparent.

I am sorry I don't quite understand. The picture is in the detail area of my report. The picture itself has a transparent background and that shows on the screen, but when I print preview or print a hard copy the transparency is lost. On the image frame the image is a image type, the picture is embedded, the back style is transparent and back color is no color.

I'm saying I do it with the Picture property of the report rather than an image control. That said, perhaps you need to send it to the back (on the Arrange tab of the ribbon).

The gif is attached to this message. I stopped reporting in the other thread as I was asked to start a new thread.
