    Update my level of expertise

    For some reason, my account is marked as "Novice" How do I change this?

    It's based on your number of posts.

    You can change it in your profile settings if you're really bothered by it.

    Where in the profile settings can I change this? I tried Edit Profile but couldn't find this setting.

    Goto settings, then edit my profile.

    It's possible you can't do this until a certain number of posts?

    There is no setting under Edit Profile to update this status. The problem is that users think I'm a "noob" when I've been developing software for decades. If I can't change this setting by hand, so be it. It's really confusing. You should remove this.

    I'm afraid I can't remove anything - I'm merely a forum user, and as you can see I was able to change mine.

    Personally I would enjoy being looked as a noob, it's strangely comforting to be able to ask questions that you should know the answer to
