    You may be suffering from some strange corruption.

    Can you upload a stripped down version of your database forms to let us have a look?
    If you have genuinely created a form, and not dragged a query onto your main form then what you are describing is weird. Very weird.

    I wouldn't be able to upload any revision of the app I'm developing because it is proprietary to the company I work for. At any rate, I took your advice and created a true form as my subform using the wizard and then changed the source object to the query I want to use. I now have a subform object in my navigation pane and can add code to its many events. Thank you for your input.
