Filter form, vba

I am fighting this for days and it is time to ask for help. What I am trying to do is to filter the form by plant, area and module. The filter I have now works but it has one disadvantage, it doesn’t narrow down the search criteria. For example, if I filter plant by “1000” and move to “Area” filter I would like to see only the areas 10 & 11 and if I choose 10, then only modules A & B should be available for filtering. How I can rewrite the vba code to achieve this?
The other filter I have problem with is the cboPH filter which reads query “qryFilterCboPH”.  With this filter, only the PHs which are not locked and filtered by Plant and Area should be available for input.
If either, Area or Plant filter is left empty or both of them then I would like to see all the PH’s in drop down list which are not locked. Right now I am getting nothing when this happens.
