    Unhappy How to make it Portable?

    Hello there, im new here.
    i made a big database with almost 1 million pictures related to the table varieties; but here this is my problem now, that i want to send this to the hard drive and run this in another computer!
    i copied that to 1TB hard drive and used it in my friend's pc, but when i ran the access file there was everything ok but i couldn't see the pictures! so i checked the table and i saw the HUGE problem!


    1 Million Directory was wrong! and when i used excel to change the name of my computer name to my friend one, the excel freezed and i can't do this with any computer!
    i don't know what should i do people!
    i need this files to be shared without any problem in other pcs, please help mE.

    PLEASE HELP ME TO FIND ANOTHER WAY FOR GLOBALLY SOLVING THIS ISSUE, I DON'T WANT TO SET DIRECTORIES FOR EACH ONE!!!

    Use an update query.

    Or better still don't hard code the path. Store the top level path in a table and use that in a query to create the full path.
    If you ever move the storage location a simple update of the one field in the table will correct the problem.

    You could even make a form to update that path so it is easily modified by the end user.
