Use DSN connection and also get to know windows server user account

    Hi Guys,

i am using DSN connection to link tables from Access FE to Postgresql BE.

So current user is "postgres" ("select current_user;") for Administrator windows server 2012 account and for lukasz.jarych user windows server account.

    How can i distinct it?

    Use only DSN less connections?
Or somehow to distinct what system username is used?

I tried to implement this method:

    https://www.cafe-encounter.net/p2034...s-on-localhost

but this is only for not providing password when specific windows user is logged.

    How can i acheve this?

Goal is to have windows user name to know who is inouting data into tables in postgresql.

    Best,
    Jacek

    I have one idea,
i can use Environ("username") and pass this into Postgresql but i think that this is not efficient.

It should be done directly in Postgresql.
But with DNS i am not sure it is possible at all.

    Best,
    Jacek
