    Printing forms problem and help

Hi, I just let my purchasing person go so i'm in a bit of a bind. We have a Access database that we use for making purchase requisitions. I use the print button on the bottom of the form page and it only prints a blank page. We have some macros for printing and they print like 20 pages of code.
I have found a second database on the computer that is not used and it prints the the one page form. The print preview is filled in. I went to design view and looked at the two buttons (old database verses new) and could not see any difference.
i need to know where to go to get this one to work. Is it in the VB code.
Can i make a new button or new macro just to print the last file.

i have a macro that ask for a PO or PR number i enter that but i don't get a print preview i get the 20 pages of junk.
    Thanks, Robert

Whatever the reason for your situation, forms are for data entry/editing/viewing. They are not designed to be printed.
Use a report instead to print output

No that does not work either. The reports or the macros or the print buttons don't print the completed PR out.
    Thanks for your help

Found the problem. Was not putting the users name in one of the fields. Put my name in was not registered in the DB. Basic stuff that i forgot from not using access for some time.
    Thanks for your help.
PS it does print the form from the button at the bottom of the form.

Colin wasn't saying that you can't print a form, he was saying that you shouldn't. Although you can print a form, that is not their purpose. They usually look rather poor when printed, plus you don't have the sorting, grouping and formatting capabilities that you have with a report.
