Access was acting very strangely, yeah. But it fixed itself when I set up many various checks and balances. Still not quite sure what some of this issues could have been caused by but to date it hasn't acted up since I've made those changes. I've also managed to set up all my queries (painfully)!

Now All I have to do is error proofing and data validation of the field entries and I'll be finished with this chapter of my project.
