Only the accde has an error?

This one has driven me crazy.

I have one line in my macro autoexec and that is to call the function StartUp()

My code in the function StartUp() disables the ribbon.

When I open the MDB (not holding shift to bypass autoexec) it works just fine.

When I save as an accde file and run that file I get the following error:

I have deleted the Autoexec macro and recreated it, and also deleted the startup function as well as the module container it was in and recreated both and I still have the same error.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

the ribbon must not be available in .accde.
I think some functions are lost too.

The ribbon is available in accde files & can also be disabled/enabled as needed.
For example I hide both ribbon & nav pane in ACCDE files but make the print preview ribbon automatically visible when viewing a report

Having said that I had trouble running a function to hide the ribbon & nav pane from an autoexec macro in ACCDE files.
So I moved the same code to the form load event of my start up form. That works fine
