Access 2016: Alt+Tab…toggle between open forms by using Alt+Tab

I've got roughly 10 forms of which I need 2 or 3 open at same time. (BTW: the forms are linked to separate tables) I know I can open multiple forms but I need to be able to toggle between the open forms using "Alt+Tab" ..... anyone know if this is possible? Thank you in advance... Tjay

BTW: I posted on Stackoverflow as well and got some great tips but didn't accomplish what I was needing.

    Welcome to the forum

As I'm sure you already know, Alt+Tab will toggle between different Windows applications - not toggle between forms within Access.

What did StackOverflow suggest to save anyone wasting time repeating ideas that didn't work
Also suggest you post the link to your SO question

Yes, that's how I'm trying to get it to act, like different windows apps, so I can alt+tab between the forms.

They suggested Ctrl+F6 but that only works if I'm using ''tabbed'' forms.

I may just have to separate it in to multiple databases, I hate to though.

    Thanks.

This link has what is supposedly the complete list of keyboard shortcuts for Access
    https://support.office.com/en-gb/art...#bkmk_workobjs

There are some very obscure shortcuts I've never used as well as little known ones like Ctrl+Apostrophe used to fill down in datasheets or similar

I didn't see the Ctrl+F6 shortcut and a page search doesn't find it either
However, though Ctrl+F6 doesn't swop tab pages for me...it DOES toggle the focus between open forms!!!!

Ok, thank you for the list.

I may just have to bust my database apart and have two instances of Access running at same time, I hate to though.

Did you miss the point I put in bold type?

Ctrl+F6 worked toggling through several open forms.

What it won't do is toggle forms which are popup or modal as they will stay on top.
Otherwise it should do exactly what you want.

The Ctrl+F6 doesn't work if your form property, "Popup" is set to yes. (as i need it to be).... looking like i'm out of luck.

As already stated, you can't toggle between forms that are popup. It's not possible.
