Another issue I cannot seem to get a handle on

    Hello all,

I am trying to add some info to a textbox using the "Builder". I want to take one field add a comma after it and then add another field into an unbound text box so the results would look like this

    Company Name, Company Division.

I cannot seem to get the statement correct, here is where I am at right now,

    =([tblCompanyInfo]![CompanyName] & "," & [tblCompanyInfo]![CompanyDivisionName])

I have tried it without the "=" sign, without the (), etc but I cannot get it right so I get the results I want. The displayed content is #Name?

    Can someone please assist.

    Thanks

    Dave

No parentheses for starters, and you probably don't need the table name. Try

    =[CompanyName] & "," & [CompanyDivisionName]

    pbaldy,

Thanks, worked like a charm. Question though, why does the "Builder" put it in like I had it?

    Thanks

Happy to help. I'd guess you chose from "Tables..." instead of "Forms...".
