On my main form , i want to select the project (combo box) , then it will auto populate the value of the combo box in the subform based on the project combo box selection in the main form .
Below image is the subform query.

The prompt is Access telling you it can find the specified item. Make sure the form is open and the spellings of both are correct. If you're still stuck, can you attach the db he Really?

    Subform1.zip

Hi , thanks for the reply . I have attached a sample database for your reference . As you can see when you double click the subform , it will prompt you enter parameter value . & once you pressed OK , the WBS is blank .

This is because you are using a combobox for the WBS field in the subform which is totally unnecessary and also confusing to use.
Replace with a standard textbox with WBS as the control source and it works fine
