    date trigger

    Hello all,
I wish to have an event occur every 48 hours, however the timmer event will only work if the database stays open (is that correct?). So if the database is closed and not opened for say 3 days i would like it to trigger an event (update query) when it is opened since it has passed that 48 hour period but not if it is less than that 48 hour period. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Lee

Yes, the Access timer *only* runs when your db is open. Record the event DateTime in a table and check it when the application opens.
