    Printing barcodes, or atleast trying

    Greetings,

I have a made a report with barcodes 3 of 9. When I print to pdf, I can then open the pdf and highlight the barcode and copy. Then paste to a notepad with the related data. I think this tells me that the report is being generated right. but when I print the report, and then try to scan. the scanner doesnt work and generally the barcode looks like crap. I am pretty sure my Xerox Phase 6510 can do this, but am stuck. Any suggestions?

What font have you used to create the barcode in Access ?
You sometimes need to make the barcode font much larger to unsure the separation of the bars is sufficient to be read by the scanner.

Unsure the printer is set to highest definition as well.

I'm using 48 point on the attached report - same font as yours

NOTE: the data isn't real - its for a fictitious student/school
