    Filtering a Sub Report

I have 2 different tables that have different information in them but the Company is common. One in contact info [qryContact] and the other is machine info[qryCompiled]. I created a query for each to filter the tables based on the company name and then created reports on each. When I open the report it asked me for the company name and after entering the information it works. I have put one of the reports [rptCompiled] into the page footer section of the [rptFilterByCompany] report as a sub report. When I open the report it asks me for my criteria 2 times. Is there any way to input the information 1 time for both queries?

Most of us use forms to gather user input. It gives you more control, and avoids problems like this. I'd have the queries point to a form where you have the user enter the company, then open the report.
