Table within a subform creating new unwated records

I have a database that holds all the information for all of our donors. It has a table within the subform that contains all the auction donations. Last year I turned it into a table instead of a cell because we wanted them all listed individually for a report we have to do later on. Now it is making a new record for each of those entries. Is there a way to keep it all under that current year without creating a new record?

    ???Hmmm.

I have no idea what you are asking.

I recommend you try describing the "business" that this proposed database is intended to support in simple English -no jargon. We know nothing of you or your environment.

Try writing to answer/address the old:

what, who, where, when, why, how and how much/how often

    Good luck with your project.

We have a couple of different fundraisers each year and I created this database to hold all of the donor information. I have a subform that holds all of the information that contains information relating to the Charity Dinner. When the time comes we wanted all of the auction donation to print individually on their own line so I changed the entry to a table format and now it is creating a new record for each one of those auction donation when I only want one record for each year. I attached a little diagram to hopefully explain myself a little better.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
