    procedure or sub that does a specific task

    for example:

    Sub ex()
    do a specific task


    end sub

    What do you call it, a subroutine ?

    I think procedure is a general term that umbrellas over subroutines and functions.
    It's all pretty interchangeable when "talking code".

    Agree with Dave but if you want to be accurate, its a subroutine
    Colin, Access MVP, Website, email
