Issues with Sharing a Database with multiple Users

    Hello,

I have had to recreate my access database several times now. My team and I use the database to track our on-boarding and there's 4 of us that update records in the database using a form. What happens is that sometimes an error occurs where it says something about ID Is not an Index in this table when I try to open the form. Then a visual basic error comes up.

I don't know how to fix this issue so that we can all update our own information without having this happen. Should I split the database? It is a shared database out on a network so I thought that would be fine. Any help would be so much appreciated. Thank you!

Yes! and everyone should have their own copy of the front end locally.

i have all users in my tUser table and the path to their personal network folder.
When updates are ready, I click a distribute button and it copies the FE to all users.

ID Is not an Index in this table
The generally accepted meaning of this message is that your db is corrupt. So you probably have joined the legions of developers who eventually end up in that situation by not splitting the db in the manner suggested. Suggest you immediately back up this db and then start a new one and import everything into the new one. Hopefully the problem will not also be imported. Otherwise, you risk getting to the point where the message becomes like "visual basic project cannot be loaded....blah blah, this will remove all code from your forms and reports, etc. etc...."
