    Orange,

If you look at the form "Inventory Transactions", and Select PN: M12273, you'll see that essentially the same calculation is working there, and thats what I want to get working on the other form.

    Thanks

    Dave

I find it easier to work with a sample; test it until it works; then expand the test to include more pieces of the puzzle.

What is the meaning of the shaded lines on this form? Where do you show qtyUsed?
I see this is Ordered vs Received? Not Inventory on Hand involving PartsUsed???

    orange,

On this form there is no qty used, this just shows the qty ordered and qty received which is stored in the "Inventory Transactions" table. If you then open up the form "Work Orders", you'll see a command button for "Relieve Inventory", which when clicked, deducts the parts required for that part from inventory, the parts required for that part can be found by opening the report "Parts List by Assembly", the "Parts List by Work Order does the same thing but uses the Work Order, this is what I used to populate the "Inventory Transactions - Test" table to ensure it was putting the qty used, and other info in the correct location.

The "Add this DHR to Inventory" Creates another row in the same table to add the new part to inventory.

    Thanks

    Dave

    Orange,

But I still don't have the Qty on Hand field on the original report, that is still my issue.

    Thanks
