    Data standarization for 2 tables

    Hi Guys,

i have 2 tables with the same fields for two different computers. And also i have 2 calculation environments : test and production.
Columns memory size and Serial_no can be characteristic also for test environment.

The rest of columns are used only in production.

How should i organize data to have best approach for this?
Should i create only one table , my junction table where i will have all data characteristic for each column?
For example for Memory Size and production_memory one separate table with relation to junction table?

In attachment please find my database.

    thank you for help,
    Best,
    Jacek

    I would think 1 table,
MemorySize & ProdMemory would be part of the table (for the PC settings ) and the rest of the fields for test settings.
and Environ (either Test or Prod)

As I said in another thread, your tables need to be subject-based. What is the subject of the table in your last diagram? Is it about testings? And what is a computer's relationship to a testing? I see a lot of duplicate computer entries in your table, and you can probably make this more efficient by dividing the tables into their proper subjects: computers, tests, etc.
