Limit Access Query / Report to 2 Decimal places for currency

I currently have access queries, that reports are being generated from and one of the columns that is a dollar figure is showing 4 decimal places.

My original instinct was to edit the query, so when the report is ran its already changed, but I cannot figure out where to make this change at.

You can use the format function on the query field, but I think it would be easier if you just formatted the control in the report so as to show only 2 decimal places by setting this in the property sheet in design view. If this propagates to other things, then you can/should set the number of places in the table field itself. Did you set the table field to be Currency data type?
