    Find duplicates query

    Hi Forum,

Is there a way to Find duplicate of a field query but also list out another field that is associated with it on the same table. For example, I have these unique IDs tied into these unique Names... Can the query display the the duplicated unique IDs / #of dups / unique Names associated with unique IDs. I used the wizard query to find dups as shown attached.

Yes you can ... but not the way you are trying to do it...

Instead, use the find duplicates query wizard.
It will do most if not all the hard work for you

    for example:

The more I learn, the more I know I don't know. When I don't know, I keep quiet!
    If I don't know that I don't know, I don't know whether to answer

Doesn't seem to work. Can you check your code again?

    You're welcome.
My 'code' was produced by the wizard.
For info, this is an example of a subquery where the query criteria are themselves based on a query.
Quite tricky to do without the wizard unless you're familiar with the syntax
