    Send report by mail fails after update

    Hello,

    For a while I have been using a button in a form that sends a report via mail (outlook).
    It has always worked well.
    Now there are several updates installed this week.
    And now it does not work anymore.
    When I press the button I get the following message:
    "The message can not be sent from Microsoft Access."


    Does anyone have a solution for this?


    It really has to do with the updates.


    Because if I put the database on another PC, it works.

    look in vbe settings: Alt-F11, menu, tools, references:
    see if you have Outlook checked but MISSING.
    if missing, uncheck it scroll down and check the latest version.

    have you tried SENDOBJECT command?
    DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport, "rMyReport", acFormatPDF, "name@aol.com", , , "Subject", "message"
