    cant delete class object

I copied a form and pasted it as a new form. However the form did not show up in the navigator. I tried to copy and paste again and it said the form existed. I then just created a new form but now the database says "the form name 'myform_name" is misspelled or refers to a form that doesnt exist.

When i go into VBA editor I can see the class object Form_myform_name but when i click on it , i get the same error as above. Now when i open my database it says it and says I need to save a copy.

How can I get rid of this class object / form that seems to be in limbo. I ran compact an repair several times but that did not seem to help.

Try *importing* your project into a fresh new db but don't copy what you don't want.

Hmm, that didnt work. I have too much other stuff in the database.

I did get it to work by compacting and the trying to create a blank form with that name. I had tried to do that before and it didn't work but this time it did so all solved.
    Thanks
