    Use of FORMAT for date

    I have used format in form as follows:

    =format([date],"YYMMDD")&"-"&Number



    and it showed as : 171209-56.

    however, my question is how can you make the format of the date if it is made in the middle as shown:

    PURCHASE/ORDER/171209/GO/56

    Sure, you just concatenate strings in front too:

    ="PURCHASE/ORDER/" & Format(...) & ...
