Angry Table Relationship Issue (Front End)

In backend, there are four tables:

    Category
    SubCategory
    Class
    SubClass

All four tables are linked. The AutoID in Category is saved in SubCategory. The AutoID in SubCategory is saved in Class. And so fourth..

When I open the backend, I get the plus symbols to expand Category to view SubCategory. The plus symbol to expand Class to view SubClass.

Unfortunately, I cannot get these relationships to work in the frontend. When I open Category in the front end, I don't get the plus symbols to expand. I've tried everything I know to try. I defined relationships in the backend before linking to the front end. I tried establishing the relationships in the front end but even that doesn't work.

    Any ideas??? Thx!

I am not able to replicate the issue. Works just fine in my split db.

If you want to provide your files for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

Create a query and add all four table in it. it will + sign in data view mode when query runs.

I do have a non-split db where I can't get Subdatasheet on a table and can't understand why. EDIT: Finally figured out why - the SubdatasheetName property was set to None.

Tried the query approach and that does nothing. Regardless, I suspect the query would not be updatable and therefore useless.
