    Labels/Report Based Upon Query

I have a database of clearance merchandise. The merchandise is priced based upon age (every thirty days). The query will indicate which items need to be

re-priced with a "yes" or "no". After I print the labels I need to reset the print status to "no" until the next thirty days lapse.

I am currently exporting the query to excel for editing then exporting to access to print.

I am not sure where to start.

    Thank you

Can you post your db with a few example records (or all of them).
Don't see any reason for Excel to get involved. Records can easily be edited with an Access form.
Is this a single user database, or many users on a network?

New more info on your process. Can you explain exactly how you run it or how it needs to run? Do you run this everyday, once a month? and it needs to include all records within 30 days of the current date? Is there a LabelPrinted date field or something to know you already printed it? Can you give sample of you data in the table/query when you run it.

    Why Access and excel?

Might be easier for readers to understand if you told us some details of your database and the process(es) it supports in your busness in simple English. An example or 2 would also help. A jpg of your tables and relationships would add context for your post.

How is this yes/no status determined? Is it calculated or are you manually setting value of field?

    Why do you involve Excel?

    Labels/Report Based Upon Query

This is a single user database. The "yes" / "no" status is determined using an expression in the query. I am using Excel for selecting records because I am unsure as to how this is done using Access without deleting records.

I have attached the entire file

    Thank you

I don't see need for the Yes/No calc unless you manually change to select different age groups. Right now every record over 30 days old is Yes.

Conventional approach would be to apply filter criteria to query or report when it opens. There is really no need to involve Excel.

Build a form that allows you to input search values. Then a query can reference controls on the form as dynamic parameters or VBA code can construct filter criteria string to apply to report when it opens.

Advise no spaces nor punctuation/special characters (underscore only exception) in naming convention.
