Displaying Windows Task Bar when in an Access Form

Is there a way to display the Windows Task Bar at the bottom of the screen when an Access Form is viewed?, the form is Maximized when opened.

One of my clients wants to be able to go to the internet while working in the database.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

I don't get what the problem is. I use 7, and when Access is open, I still see the task bar regardless whether the forms are maximized or not. You're saying their tb is visible when using other apps, but if you open Access or maximize a form, it disappears?

Yes, I am using 7 also, and my main form for data entry fills the whole screen all the way to the bottom. The Task Bar is not showing.

If the form is set to Popup/Modal, this will happen. You can set the size and position of the form with the DoCmd.MoveSize option when the form opens, or in design mode set the size of the form.

I don't experience this with Access 2007. Interesting. Don't understand why the task bar would disappear regardless of the view.

    Micron,
It appears that the form in your example above was created as a "Model Dialog" form. And I see that the taskbar is visible. However, all of the forms in my database program were created from scratch, without the Model Dialog format. All are Full Screen.

    Thank you for your input.

I think you mean modal. No, it's not modal and it isn't maximized either.

It was meant to be a counter point to post 4.
When it is in a tab view, I still see the tb. Before you say your problem is because you're not using tabs, I can attach a pic of the tb when the form has no tab and is maximized, but it's no different either way.

You don't say if the problem exists for you too or what. I don't see what this problem has to do with any form view. AFAIK, whether or not the tb is visible is controlled by Windows options. Maybe some applications can over-ride that setting, but I don't think I've ever encountered that. Sorry if I'm not getting what the problem is.
