    Form automatically populate with old info

    Good morning

    I have a database which I created myself.
    When i open a form to insert data i find that all the fields are already populated with data.
    The data is the 1st entry found on the table where all the data is stored.

    Can anyone please advise how i go about opening a form and have it blank?

    Thanks

    Gideon

    Suggest you google Bound vs Unbound forms in ms Access

    And also DataEntry property of a Form in MS Access.
    Good luck

    Okay I figured this one out by the help of a woman called Helen
    What you need to do is;

    Put the form in Design Mode
    Select Property Sheet
    Select Data Tab
    Change Data Entry to yes

    I have tested and it works.
