Text Boxes in Access are Unreadable

I created a new database/application in Access 2013 the other day. All was well until I used it today when, while editing records the textboxes and label controls started showing up in reversed video as shown in the attached screen capture. Any ideas what happened and how to fix?

No idea. Never seen this. Try running Compact & Repair.

Does this happen with other forms or reports?

    June7 --

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, it happens in all forms, data sheets, tables and all Access application controls like the "Search" and Navigation fields. It is seriously weird.

I'll try compact and repair, hadn't thought of that. Thanks.

Tried compact and repair. No love. All the fields look the same.

Try opening on another computer? If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

It occurred to me that before I went to great lengths to try to fix this problem that I should try the most time honored of fixes for problems in Windows. I rebooted the machine.

Yep, that fixed it. Windows 3.1 through Window 7, Microsoft loves continuity.

Thanks for your offer of help.
