Need good tutorial about Access Form with multiple subforms - not tabbed

    Hi,

Can someone point me to a good tutorial about how to create forms with multiple sub-forms - not tabbed - I need that all the sub-forms are visible so the user can easily copy data between them.

    Thanks for any help
    David

A form can easily have multiple subforms not on a tab control. But why would data be copied between them?

    Hi June7,
    Thanks for your reply.
I'm creating a medicinal plants data base, I have data from two sources each in their own table. I need to edit and combine these two sources into a single table, hence I have a sub-form for each source and I want to be able to copy the info (whole row or part of) into a third sub-form/table which will be the final version of the data.

Is this an on-going process or a one-time effort to fix data?

I don't understand the issue. If you have the forms then go ahead and put them on a main form.

Would a UNION query serve to combine the two datasets?

At the moment I've only imported the excel tables into Acess, don't have experience with multiple subforms, which was why I was asking for a link to a good tutorial.

If you know how to put a subform on a form then you already know how to put multiple subforms on a form. A subform/subreport is a container control that holds an object (table, query, form, report). Install as many container controls as you want and arrange and size them however you prefer.
