    Error Deleting Table

    Hi,

In my database there is a very old table, "Firm Information" that I never got around to deleting before and I tried to delete it now. I do not remember the last time this table was needed and there are no object dependencies and there is no data in it. However, when I go to delete the table I get the below message.

I have tried to Compact and Repair the database but I get the below message

I do not know how to proceed from here. Any help will be appreciated.

You could always move everything over to a new database.
Just open a new blank database, go to External Data -> Import & Link and click on the Access button.
Then browse to your database, and select all the objects you want to import over to the new database (be sure to leave off the table you don't want)!

I tried that option, but it did not seem to bring over any of the relationships or vba that i have established

While you are selecting the different Object to import, if you click on the Options button, it gives you other options you will want to check to bring over, such as:
    - Relationships
    - Menus and Toolbars
    - Import/Export Specs
    - Nav Pane Groups

I typically only choose Import/Export Specs, as I do not use the other three things. But if you have Relationships, you will want to check that box.

Also, be sure to go to ALL the tabs. All your VBA will be located in the Modules tab (or attached to the Forms/Reports). As long as I have selected these objects, I have never had a situation where the VBA did not come over.

Thanks JoeM. It worked this time. I am not sure what exactly I did the first time, but I see everything there now.
