    No relationship drawn connecting tables

    Hi all

Just a quick question, for a certain field in a table, I went to Lookup Wizard > I want the lookup field to get values from another table or query > tableName > select the appropriate fields > made field ascending > went to enforce referential integrity then got this message:

I assume it's because not all values the field from one table are present in the current table. When I go to the current table field, it appears as a dropdown with all the values from the previous table, but when I look under database tools > relationships > there is no actual relationship drawn out. I'm confused because i assumed if there was no connection, then there wouldn't be a dropdown at all. Is this problematic?

Should never use "Look up Fields" in tables . See http://access.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm

Also should never use multi-value fields or calculated fields in tables.
