How do I create a table to track history of hardware?

I am designing a database to track Inventory. We would like to track the history of where the hardware was whenever we move it. So far I have a table called Hardware that has a field named PulledDate to represent the date that we removed it from a persons desk. What I want to do then is to have the information of where this piece of hardware was when we pulled it. I am assuming a table called HWHistory, which would have the fields for LName, FName, SerialNumber, AssetTag, Description and PulledDate. I know that this is redundant data but I am not sure how else to do this. How would I create a macro ? that would pull that info into the table when the PulledDate in Hardware is filled in?
