Post Exporting a form from a split database and create a 2nd front-end db

    Dear all,

Being quite new to Access (Access 2016 on Win10), I would like to ask you the following:

    1. I created a split dabatase that is running fine: back-end file with tables and front-end file with forms and reports, etc.

    2. I would like to have of the forms (just created, no data yet) at another front-end db as it will be destined to different users

    3. So I would create an empty db file and then:

    a. Export the specific form to that new db

    b. In that new db, connect the back-end db in order to have access to the tables
    c. Delete the form from the previous front-end file

Will that work? Is it possible to have then 2 or more front-end files pointing to the same back-end db? I am asking before moving on as I do not want to risk damaging the current files.

    Thank you very much!

Yes, that is what you are supposed to do anyway for users using same database, multiple FE all linked to the BE database on network.
