    The form has several ComboBoxes which are populated with criteria from several fields in the database.
    When the user selects a value in any of those ComboBoxes the form displays the results of that filter request in the ListBox


    I use the TextBox to display the record count for that particular filter.

    Okay, but still doesn't explain why. Why does this count need to be displayed - how is it used other than it just shows up? What does it mean to the user? Does it impact a decision they have to make?

    Ahhh... Gotcha ~

    Yes, it can/will impact decision making. E.g.

    Supervisor span of control. Managers can click on any Supervisor name and immediately see the list agents currently assigned to that Sup and the total # of agents.

    Shift Assignments. Sups & Managers can view a list of agents and see immediately how agents are assigned to various shifts.
