    Access 2010 on Windows 10

I have used Access 2010 for years and have created a large database. My customer service and I have shared the database which I placed on the company's server. Haven't had a moments problem running Win 7. As long as we weren't using the same record we could both be in the database at the same time.

Our computers became old and needed to be replaced, we both have Windows 10 computers now and the database seems unstable and we both are not able to be in the database at the same time anymore. I get a warning that I don't have exclusive use when just trying to enter the database (which I used to get if I wanted to Change the design of something when she was in there) . If I say okay to the warning about 5 times if finally lets me in.

Is this just a Windows 10 thing, or is their something I am missing from the change of computers (A setting perhaps)? I also see that the Num Lock key turns off when you enter the database. Thank never happened before.

You should really both have a separate copy of the FrontEnd with the BackEnd in a central location. Two people in the same db is asking for problems.

Thank you. Big job [large and complex database from 12 years of programming]. I knew I should do it. I'm a salesman who created this out of necessity, not an abundance of time to program. I will bury the hatchet and try it. Thanks for the links.
