    totalof hours in report

I am converting multiple spreadsheets into access and have come across a problem in the way access handles time.
I have clients ,staff and appointments
I want to report the total hours for client for a given date range.

I have the query set up to display the appointments and number of hours for each, but can't work out how to put a sum of hours at bottom of report.
    I have attached a names changed versioncalchours.zip

I never use dynamic parameterized queries. Review http://allenbrowne.com/ser-62.html

What if there is more than one client with same last name?

Advise not to use spaces in field and object names.

Extract the date part from the date/time value and apply filter criteria to that: DateValue([Apt Finish Date])
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
