    SQL or something more complicated?

Good day! Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm not so experienced with SQL, but I have been able to fake it in the past with a bunch of Google and good folks like yourselves.

I need to figure out a SQL clause that would turn a table like this:

Name:	Table.PNG
Views:	16
Size:	1.2 KB
ID:	29581

    Into:

Name:	Table2.PNG
Views:	16
Size:	3.7 KB

    To be exported to excel...

If anyone can list the steps for me, would be awesome.

    Thanks!

there is no query to do this.
however, you can produce it close ,with a crosstab query, .. but without the 1st row (with 2 fields)

If you want to make your version, youd have to export the data to excel, then run a pivot table.
    This may produce your results.

Why don't you post actual table fieldnames and data?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
