Just curious--Why did you post that particular zip file?
Did you consider just posting the database and related data?

Here's two of the tables needed for the "Copy of Query 2" query that can be imported into the PROJMAST.MDB instead of dealing with the dBase files. The PROJMAST.ZIP is still 3.7 MB so the system will not take the upload right now. I'm going to try to temporarily change the limit for zip to see if I can upload.

Thank you so much for cleaning up the DB.

    Everything has a Code now?

I've linked the three tables you've made together. Thank you for that.

So now I can run Copy of Query 2 with the 3 tables you've recreated?

They are your tables, they link as you wanted them to.

Idk for some reason i'm still getting multiple outputs for each project number and it's summing the incorrect numbers for QTY even with just the 3 new tables

Have you run the Find Duplicates wizard query against each tabe to see what you have?

    @RuralGuy

I did a new query with only NUMBER and STATUS (A through H) as the fields from projmast. There are no duplicates. There are 103 non-duplicate records of project NUMBER with a STATUS of A through H

    This is correct

What I need to be able to get outputted is 103 non-duplicate records of projects with a status of A-H and Transtype L.

Transtype is a field name from the JBCSTLOG table
Linking projmast with JBCSTLOG is causing all these issues.

Is it possible to put into a report, the results of a query with just NUMBER and STATUS (criteria A-H) and then another seperate query with TRANSTYPE L and join the two queries together in a report??

Theres multiple entries for each project NUMBER for TRANSTYPE

EACH TIME A TECHNICIAN POSTS HOURS WORKED HE ENTERS IT INTO THAT SPECIFIC PROJECT CREATING A NEW ENTRY EACH TIME, THAT"S WHY THERE ARE MULTIPLES

WE NEED TO TOTAL THE MULTIPLE ENTRIES

    BIG PROJECT = MORE ENTRIES

IDK HOW ELSE TO EXPLAIN IT

    Attachment 29601

This is how we're getting the labor hours is from totaling each L entry

The number of Projects keeps changing. I am not able to get any of the numbers you keep coming up with.
