[BegDate] [EndDate] work in one Crosstab Query but not in another

I have 2 crosstab queries, 1 does a Crosstab of referrals by Month, and 1 does it by Quarter. In the Monthly Crosstab I have the field OpenDate as a Where with the Criteria being Between [BegDate] and [EndDate]. This works, the popups come up and ask for the begDate and EndDate with no issues. When I use this same field, OpenDate, as a where in the Quarterly crosstab with the same Criteria I get an error message that "The Microsoft Access database engine does not recognize '[BegDate]' as a valid field name or expression. Any ideas as to why it would work in many other queries and forms and reports, etc. but not this one?

    Crosstab queries are an exception....
You MUST insert the parameters in the query....in the query design, parameter button (toolbar),
enter the params and their data type,
    save.

Hi ranman256, when I do that it's like it duplicated my BegDate and EndDate and asks for each of them twice. So in my Crosstab Query, I added the Parameters of BegDate and EndDate, and in the Crosstab Query I have the OpenDate Between [BegDate] and [EndDate]. now when I try to run the query it asks for BegDate, EndDate, BegDate and then another EndDate.
