Question How Do You Enable Inherited Disabled Database Functionality Buttons??

Greetings to everyone! I'm working with an inherited MS Access 2010 32-bit database where all the functionality buttons have been disabled by the original database developer. Please share any tips, suggestions, etc. I may utilize to unlock/enable the functionality buttons. Thank you in advance for your response & consideration of the issue.

Not real sure what you mean by "Functionality Buttons" but do the work if you open the db while holding down a <SHIFT> key?

All the database buttons are grayed out when the DB is open. Yes, I selected the Shift key to turn on the operational status of the buttons. It did make any difference. How do I enable the buttons so I may select them to operate MS Access? Thank you.

The filename has an .accdb extension, and it is in a trusted location. Thank you in advance for any insight you may provide.

Do you think the AllowBypassKey has been set to false? It can be changed outside of the db if necessary.

Understand that this will not help if you cannot get into the code of the application.

As I did research the AllowBypassKey property, I'm still trying to access the application's code. Will certainly keep you posted. Thank you!

Hi! The VB code which contains the AllowBypassKey property has finally been found. You're 100% correct. It was set to False along with AllowFullMenu & AllowBreakIntoCode properties. Once I change the settings from False to True for all 3 properties, please advise how I should best re-compile the code. Thank you immensely for your assistance.
