    Form, Subforms

First of all thanks for reading my post.

I am quite new at using excel and I am trying to make a form and a subform work.

I have a table with my Customers' Info and a Table with my Customers' Companies. I made a Form to fill in the customers info with a subform to fill in the companies info relating to that customer. Everything is working fine up to now.

I want to make the subform so that the administrator filling it in is able to either choose from a list one of the previous inputed Companies or be able to insert a new one. I tried using a combobox for that but it will only let me choose from the already inputed Companies.

In case you require any clarifications please tell me.

    Thank you for your assistance.

Search on notinlist, which should turn up code to use the not in list event of the combo to add a new record.

It will only add records that don't already exist.

Ok cool you are right. I thought it added a record when I tried it.

How can I use the after update event to autofill in the rest of the data that match that company ?
