    Importing Letter head

    Good Day All.

My case is that I am importing a JPEG letterhead which has an embedded company logo.

When imported as a logo the letter head appears little too small. So I try enlarging the box around the letterhead but that does not enlarge the Letterhead itself.

When inserted as an image the letterhead comes in much too large. Adjusting the surrounding box does not alter the size of the letter head.

Can anyone assist with the problem?

If you are using an image control, select it in design view and on the property sheet > format tab, select the size mode property and hit F1. Help will explain the various size settings.

    Gorge,

As Micron pointed out, change the Size Mode from Clip.

For the Image Control view the Properties. On the Foramt Tab > Size Mode > from Clip to Zoom.

Zoom will keeps the aspect rratiowhen you rezie the box.

Stretch makes the image fill the size of the control. It does NOT keep the aspect ratio.

Clip shows at eh actual size. To use this uyou will need to reaize the image to the desired size before loding into Access.

You will decrease the Database bloat in size if you will resize the image before you add it to an Access Form or Report.

If yuo will be using the same iogo image on multiple forms/reports it is better to use an external link or save it in a table.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
