    Look-up Fields Creating Table Subgroups

    Hi Guys,

I'm having trouble figuring out how to make a subgroup from a table where the field is rowsourced to another table. See below for illustrations.

So I basically want to create a filter subgroup for "NCR" and "CDR" where I can easily just expand it like picture 2 (Names). I tried doing it and it gives me an error on picture 1.

    Thanks!

Advise not to build lookups in tables. I NEVER do. I build comboboxes on forms.

I am not sure what you are trying to do. How are these tables related? Provide code for analysis. If the issue is with a query, post the query sql statement.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
