    Newbie here, Report sorting


    I have taught myself from online tutorials on how to use MS Access. My database has 4 tables and I need to create a report that displays data from all tables and sorts using the Code column in the attached file. please help

    Before diving in to the report, create a query that carries all the data you want displayed on the report. Don't worry about sorting or what the report is going to look like, first get all the fields that you need in one place. From there the report wizard can create the report for you.

    Thanks for the reply. I did that and it worked out well. Now in my other reports I am trying to create queries. When the wizard starts up and i select all the fields required, I get an error for not having relationships. I created the relationships one to one but I keep getting the same error. What should I do?

    What is the exact error and at what point is it happening? Can you create the query without using the wizard?

    When I use the wizard and select the tables to add, that's when I get the error.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
